The objective of a Cancer Robotic Surgery Training Program is to provide healthcare professionals with specialized education and training in the use of robotic surgical systems for the treatment of cancer. Participants may gain insights into the fundamental principles of robotic surgery, including the technology, instrumentation, and equipment used focusing on specific procedures for different cancer types (e.g., robotic prostatectomy, robotic-assisted thoracic surgery, robotic gynecologic oncology procedures). By the end of the program, the trainee will have developed the the knowledge and skills required to perform safe and effective robotic-assisted surgeries for various cancer types.
