The Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship offers advanced training in the perioperative management and anesthetic care of patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures.The program is designed for anesthesiologists who wish to gain comprehensive experience in cardiac anesthesia, hemodynamic monitoring, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).


Program Highlights:

Participants will be involved in the full spectrum of perioperative cardiac care, including:

  • Anesthetic management for CABG, valve repair/replacement, and thoracic surgeries

  • Intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) for cardiac surgical procedures

  • Hemodynamic monitoring and optimization during cardiopulmonary bypass

  • Management of patients requiring mechanical circulatory support (IABP, ECMO)

  • Postoperative critical care and weaning from cardiopulmonary bypass

  • Preoperative assessment and risk evaluation for cardiac surgical candidates


Fellows will work closely with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, and critical care specialists as part of an integrated heart team in high-volume cardiac centers.


Training Experience

• Hands-on procedural training in a high-volume center

• Exposure to intraoperative TEE, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care management

• Participation in surgical planning meetings and perioperative decision-making

• Opportunities for clinical research, publications, and presentations at national meetings


Duration and tuition fees:

1 month: 3,800 USD

2 months : 7,500 USD

3 months : 10,000 USD

6 Months : 15,000 USD

1 Year : 25,000 USD


Fellowship application process:


NMC Temporary License:

For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).


The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.

4. Date of Birth

5. Passport Size Photograph

6. Passport Copy

7. All Degree Certificates (including any Specialities, if applicable)

8. Valid Medical Practitioner License

9. Valid Good Standing Certificate
