The Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship offers comprehensive training in the surgical management of cardiac and thoracic diseases, with exposure to both conventional and minimally invasive techniques.
The program is designed for surgeons aiming to refine their skills in adult cardiac surgery, thoracic procedures, and perioperative patient care within high-volume centers.
Program Highlights:
Participants will gain exposure to a wide range of procedures including:
Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) — on-pump and off-pump techniques
Valve repair and replacement (mitral, aortic, tricuspid)
Minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS) approaches such as mini-thoracotomy and mini-sternotomy
Thoracic surgery including lung resections, mediastinal procedures, and pleural surgery
Basics of congenital cardiac surgery depending on case availability
Postoperative intensive care and mechanical circulatory support (ECMO, IABP)
Fellows will work alongside experienced cardiothoracic surgeons and cardiac anesthesiologists, actively participating in preoperative planning, operative procedures, and postoperative management.
Training Experience
• Hands-on procedural training in a high-volume center
• Exposure to adult cardiac, thoracic, and minimally invasive surgery cases
• Involvement in perioperative management, ICU care, and multidisciplinary discussions
• Opportunities for clinical research, publications, and presentations at national meetings
Duration and tuition fees:
1 month: 3,800 USD
2 months : 7,500 USD
3 months : 10,000 USD
6 Months : 15,000 USD
1 Year : 25,000 USD
Fellowship application process:
NMC Temporary License:
For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).
The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.

Certificate:
Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Fellowship Certificate issued by the hosting hospital.
