The Hepatology Fellowship offers comprehensive training in the clinical evaluation and management of liver diseases, including viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, and pre- and post-liver transplant care.The program is designed for gastroenterologists and physicians who wish to gain advanced experience in both inpatient and outpatient hepatology practice within specialized liver units.


Program Highlights:


  • Evaluation and management of acute and chronic liver diseases, including hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

  • Assessment and treatment of cirrhosis, portal hypertension, ascites, and hepatic encephalopathy.

  • Endoscopic and radiologic management of variceal bleeding and related complications.

  • Exposure to liver transplant work-up, perioperative management, and post-transplant follow-up.

  • Participation in multidisciplinary hepatology and liver transplant meetings.


Fellows will train under the supervision of experienced hepatologists in dedicated liver units and transplant centers, gaining broad clinical and procedural exposure.


Training Experience

• Hands-on experience in the management of chronic liver disease and transplant hepatology

• Exposure to diagnostic endoscopy, ultrasound, and interventional radiology in liver disease

• Participation in inpatient rounds, multidisciplinary transplant boards, and outpatient clinics

• Opportunities for clinical research, publications, and conference presentations


Duration and tuition fees:

1 month: 3,800 USD

2 months : 7,500 USD

3 months : 10,000 USD

6 Months : 15,000 USD

1 Year : 25,000 USD


Fellowship application process:


NMC Temporary License:

For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).


The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.

3. Parent’s Name

4. Date of Birth

5. Passport Size Photograph

6. Passport Copy

7. All Degree Certificates (including any Specialities, if applicable)

8. Valid Medical Practitioner License

9. Valid Good Standing Certificate

Hotel rates start from 40$/day (other options are available for long stay).


Certificate:

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Fellowship Certificate issued by the hosting hospital.
