General Nephrology Fellowship

The Nephrology & Dialysis Fellowship provides comprehensive clinical and procedural training in the evaluation and management of renal diseases and renal replacement therapies.The program is designed for physicians seeking hands-on exposure to both nephrology practice and dialysis unit operations within tertiary care hospital settings.


Program Highlights:


  • Clinical management of acute and chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and hypertensive renal disorders.

  • Evaluation of fluid, electrolyte, and acid–base imbalances in medical and critical care settings.

  • Hands-on training in hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis procedures, including machine setup and patient monitoring.

  • Experience in vascular access management, catheter care, and infection control in dialysis units.

  • Integration of nephrology with diabetology, cardiology, and critical care through multidisciplinary rounds.


Fellows will train under experienced nephrologists in specialized renal care units equipped with advanced dialysis and laboratory facilities.


Training Experience

• Hands-on procedural training in hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis techniques

• Clinical management of renal failure, electrolyte disturbances, and renal emergencies

• Participation in multidisciplinary case discussions and patient follow-up in dialysis centers

• Opportunities for audit, documentation, and clinical research on renal outcomes


Duration and tuition fees:

1 month: 3,800 USD

2 months : 7,500 USD

3 months : 10,000 USD

6 Months : 15,000 USD

1 Year : 25,000 USD


Fellowship application process:


NMC Temporary License:

For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).


The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.

1. Full Name of the Applicant

2. Address (Current & Permanent)

3. Parent’s Name

4. Date of Birth

5. Passport Size Photograph

6. Passport Copy

7. All Degree Certificates (including any Specialities, if applicable)

8. Valid Medical Practitioner License

9. Valid Good Standing Certificate

Certificate:

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Fellowship Certificate issued by the hosting hospital.
