The Minimally Invasive & Advanced Cardiac Surgery Fellowship provides focused, hands-on training in contemporary minimally invasive cardiac surgical techniques. The program is designed for qualified cardiothoracic surgeons seeking to advance their expertise in mini-thoracotomy, port-access approaches, and selected advanced cardiac procedures beyond conventional median sternotomy.
Program Highlights:
• Minimally invasive CABG (selected cases)
• Minimally invasive mitral and aortic valve surgery
• Mini-thoracotomy and port-access cardiac techniques
• Advanced cannulation strategies and myocardial protection techniques
• Perioperative planning, enhanced recovery protocols, and multidisciplinary cardiac care coordination
Fellows will train under the supervision of experienced senior cardiac surgeons in high-volume cardiac centers where minimally invasive approaches are routinely performed alongside conventional cardiac surgery.
Training Experience
• Active participation in minimally invasive operating lists
• Direct mentorship under specialized cardiac surgeons
• Involvement in preoperative case planning and postoperative ICU management
• Participation in surgical case discussions, audits, and academic meetings
• Exposure to complex decision-making in advanced cardiac procedures
Duration and tuition fees:
1 month: 3,800 USD
2 months : 7,500 USD
3 months : 10,000 USD
6 Months : 15,000 USD
1 Year : 25,000 USD
Fellowship application process:
NMC Temporary License:
For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).
The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.
