The objective of the Thyroidectomy Surgery Training Program is to provide healthcare professionals with specialized education and training in the clinical activities related to thyroidectomy surgery. This includes patient evaluation, diagnosis, and selection for thyroidectomy procedures, understanding different surgical approaches such as total, subtotal, and hemithyroidectomy, and mastering operative techniques for optimal outcomes. The program also covers comprehensive perioperative care, including preoperative and postoperative management, as well as potential complications of thyroid surgery.

By the end of the program, the trainee will have developed the knowledge and skills required to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients undergoing thyroidectomy surgery and contribute to ongoing advancements in the field.
