The Colorectal Surgery Fellowship provides advanced clinical and operative training in the management of benign and malignant diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus.The program is designed for general and gastrointestinal surgeons who wish to develop expertise in colorectal procedures, minimally invasive techniques, and perioperative care.


Program Highlights:


  • Surgical management of colorectal cancer, diverticular disease, and inflammatory bowel disease.

  • Laparoscopic colectomy, low anterior resection, and abdominoperineal resection (APR).

  • Stapled hemorrhoidopexy, fistula and fissure surgery, and rectal prolapse repair.

  • Diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy exposure.

  • Participation in multidisciplinary GI and oncology case discussions.


Fellows will train under the supervision of experienced colorectal surgeons in high-volume centers equipped with advanced laparoscopic and endoscopic facilities.


Training Experience

• Hands-on operative training in major and minor colorectal procedures

• Exposure to both open and laparoscopic colorectal surgery techniques

• Involvement in preoperative assessment, intraoperative decision-making, and postoperative care

• Opportunities for clinical research, publications, and conference presentations


Training Experience

• Hands-on procedural training in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery

• Exposure to gynecologic procedures across benign and complex conditions

• Participation in case discussions, operative planning, and postoperative follow-up

• Opportunities for clinical research, publications, and conference presentations


Duration and tuition fees:

1 month: 3,800 USD

2 months : 7,500 USD

3 months : 10,000 USD

6 Months : 15,000 USD

1 Year : 25,000 USD


Fellowship application process:


NMC Temporary License:

For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).


The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.

3. Parent’s Name

4. Date of Birth

5. Passport Size Photograph

6. Passport Copy

7. All Degree Certificates (including any Specialities, if applicable)

8. Valid Medical Practitioner License

9. Valid Good Standing Certificate

Hotel rates start from 40$/day (other options are available for long stay).


Certificate:

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Fellowship Certificate issued by the hosting hospital.
