The Plastic, Reconstructive & Trauma Surgery Fellowship provides comprehensive training in soft-tissue reconstruction, wound management, and trauma-related plastic surgery.The program is designed for general and orthopedic surgeons seeking to enhance their skills in reconstructive techniques and complex wound coverage following trauma, burns, or oncologic surgery.
Program Highlights:
Management of soft-tissue injuries, complex wounds, and post-traumatic defects.
Split-thickness and full-thickness skin grafts, local and regional flap reconstruction.
Hand and upper limb trauma repair, tendon and nerve reconstruction.
Post-oncologic and post-burn reconstruction, including flap planning and execution.
Exposure to microsurgical principles and multidisciplinary trauma care.
Fellows will train under the supervision of experienced plastic and trauma surgeons in tertiary hospitals with dedicated burn and reconstructive units.
Training Experience
• Hands-on procedural training in wound coverage and reconstructive surgery
• Exposure to trauma-related plastic procedures and postoperative care
• Participation in multidisciplinary case planning and emergency trauma response
• Opportunities for clinical research, publications, and conference presentations
Duration and tuition fees:
1 month: 3,800 USD
2 months : 7,500 USD
3 months : 10,000 USD
6 Months : 15,000 USD
1 Year : 25,000 USD
Fellowship application process:
NMC Temporary License:
For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).
The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.
