The Pediatric Orthopaedics Fellowship offers comprehensive training in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal disorders in infants, children, and adolescents.The program is designed for orthopedic surgeons who wish to develop advanced clinical and surgical experience in pediatric trauma, deformity correction, and congenital conditions.
Program Highlights:
Participants will gain exposure to a wide spectrum of pediatric orthopedic conditions, including:
Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) and Perthes disease
Congenital deformities such as clubfoot and limb length discrepancies
Fracture management in children using age-appropriate fixation techniques
Angular and rotational deformity correction procedures
Neuromuscular conditions including cerebral palsy and spina bifida
Growth plate injuries and limb reconstruction in pediatric patients
Fellows will train under the supervision of experienced pediatric orthopedic surgeons, actively involved in clinical evaluation, surgical correction, and long-term follow-up.
Training Experience
• Hands-on procedural training in a high-volume pediatric orthopedic unit
• Exposure to congenital, developmental, and trauma-related cases across varied age groups
• Participation in surgical planning, deformity correction discussions, and rehabilitation protocols
• Opportunities for clinical research, publications, and presentations at national meetings
Duration and tuition fees:
1 month: 3,800 USD
2 months : 7,500 USD
3 months : 10,000 USD
6 Months : 15,000 USD
1 Year : 25,000 USD
Fellowship application process:
NMC Temporary License:
For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).
The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.
