Histopathology and Cytopathology Fellowship

The Pathology Fellowship provides structured, hands-on training in diagnostic pathology with exposure to histopathology, cytopathology, and hematopathology.The program is designed for medical graduates seeking to strengthen their diagnostic and interpretative skills across surgical and clinical pathology disciplines.

Program Highlights:

Gross examination, tissue processing, and histopathological reporting of surgical specimens.
Cytology techniques including FNAC, exfoliative cytology, and fluid analysis.
Hematopathology with peripheral smear examination and bone marrow aspiration.
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and special staining techniques for tumor diagnosis.
Correlation of pathology findings with clinical and radiological data.

Fellows will train under the supervision of senior pathologists in tertiary diagnostic centers and hospital laboratories equipped with advanced histology and immunodiagnostic facilities.

Training Experience

• Hands-on exposure to histopathology, cytology, and hematology procedures

• Experience in slide preparation, staining, and diagnostic interpretation

• Participation in clinico-pathological discussions and multidisciplinary case reviews

• Opportunities for case documentation, publications, and conference presentations

Duration and tuition fees:

1 month: 3,800 USD

2 months : 7,500 USD

3 months : 10,000 USD

6 Months : 15,000 USD

1 Year : 25,000 USD

Fellowship application process:

NMC Temporary License:

For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).

The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.
