The Pediatric Critical Care (PICU) Fellowship provides advanced clinical and procedural training in the management of critically ill children requiring intensive care.The program is designed for pediatricians and physicians seeking hands-on experience in pediatric resuscitation, mechanical ventilation, and multidisciplinary critical care.
Program Highlights:
Clinical management of acute respiratory failure, sepsis, meningitis, trauma, and shock in children.
Pediatric airway management, intubation, and mechanical ventilation techniques.
Hemodynamic monitoring, fluid resuscitation, and inotrope use.
Post-surgical and post-procedural intensive care management.
Coordination with pediatric subspecialties including cardiology, pulmonology, and neurology for complex cases.
Fellows will train under the supervision of experienced pediatric intensivists in tertiary hospitals equipped with modern pediatric ICUs and advanced monitoring systems.
Training Experience
• Hands-on exposure to pediatric resuscitation, airway management, and critical procedures
• Continuous involvement in patient assessment, stabilization, and intensive monitoring
• Participation in daily ICU rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, and emergency code responses
• Opportunities for audit, clinical research, and case presentations in pediatric intensive care
Duration and tuition fees:
1 month: 3,800 USD
2 months : 7,500 USD
3 months : 10,000 USD
6 Months : 15,000 USD
1 Year : 25,000 USD
Fellowship application process:
NMC Temporary License:
For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).
The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.
