The Pediatric Gastroenterology & Hepatology Fellowship provides advanced clinical and procedural training in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver disorders in children.The program is designed for pediatricians and physicians seeking focused exposure to pediatric endoscopy, hepatology, and nutritional disorders within tertiary-level hospital settings.
Program Highlights:
Evaluation and management of common pediatric GI disorders including gastroesophageal reflux, chronic diarrhea, constipation, malabsorption, and inflammatory bowel disease.
Diagnosis and treatment of hepatic disorders such as viral hepatitis, cholestasis, and metabolic liver disease.
Exposure to pediatric endoscopy (upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy) and liver function assessment.
Nutritional evaluation and management of failure to thrive and feeding difficulties.
Multidisciplinary coordination with radiology, surgery, and nutrition departments for comprehensive patient care.
Fellows will train under experienced pediatric gastroenterologists and hepatologists in tertiary hospitals equipped with endoscopy and hepatology units.
Training Experience
• Clinical exposure to inpatient and outpatient pediatric GI and liver cases
• Observation and hands-on assistance in diagnostic and therapeutic pediatric endoscopy
• Participation in multidisciplinary discussions and patient nutrition management
• Opportunities for case documentation, clinical audit, and research in pediatric hepatogastroenterology
Duration and tuition fees:
1 month: 3,800 USD
2 months : 7,500 USD
3 months : 10,000 USD
6 Months : 15,000 USD
1 Year : 25,000 USD
Fellowship application process:
NMC Temporary License:
For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).
The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.
