The Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anesthesia Fellowship provides focused, hands-on training in peripheral nerve blocks and regional anesthesia techniques using real-time ultrasound guidance. The program is designed for anesthesiologists aiming to enhance their precision, safety, and confidence in performing ultrasound-assisted procedures for perioperative pain management and anesthesia.
Program Highlights:
Principles of ultrasound imaging, anatomy identification, and probe handling.
Upper limb blocks: interscalene, supraclavicular, infraclavicular, and axillary approaches.
Lower limb blocks: femoral, adductor canal, popliteal, and sciatic nerve blocks.
Truncal and fascial plane blocks: TAP, erector spinae, rectus sheath, and PECS blocks.
Continuous catheter techniques and postoperative analgesia protocols.
Fellows will train under the supervision of experienced regional anesthesiologists in high-volume operating theaters and pain units equipped with advanced ultrasound systems.
Training Experience
• Hands-on procedural training in ultrasound-guided nerve and fascial plane blocks
• Exposure to perioperative pain management and multimodal analgesia strategies
• Participation in daily operating room sessions and simulation-based workshops
• Opportunities for clinical research, publications, and academic presentations
Duration and tuition fees:
1 month: 3,800 USD
2 months : 7,500 USD
3 months : 10,000 USD
6 Months : 15,000 USD
1 Year : 25,000 USD
Fellowship application process:
NMC Temporary License:
For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).
The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.
