Hepatobiliary Surgery Fellowship

The Gastrointestinal & Hepatobiliary Surgery Fellowship provides advanced surgical training in the management of benign and malignant diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system. The program is designed for general surgeons aiming to enhance their clinical decision-making and operative skills in complex abdominal surgery.


Program Highlights:


  • Surgical management of upper and lower GI disorders, including gastrectomy and colectomy.

  • Hepatic and biliary surgery, including hepatectomy, CBD exploration, and biliary reconstruction.

  • Pancreatic surgery and management of pancreatic cysts, trauma, and malignancy.

  • Diagnostic and therapeutic laparoscopy in GI and hepatobiliary conditions.

  • Participation in multidisciplinary GI oncology boards and preoperative case planning.


Fellows will train under the supervision of senior GI and hepatobiliary surgeons in tertiary care centers with high operative volumes and advanced imaging and endoscopy support.


Training Experience

• Hands-on participation in major GI and hepatobiliary surgical procedures

• Exposure to both open and laparoscopic approaches in abdominal surgery

• Involvement in perioperative patient care, case discussions, and tumor boards

• Opportunities for clinical research, publications, and conference presentations


Duration and tuition fees:

1 month: 3,800 USD

2 months : 7,500 USD

3 months : 10,000 USD

6 Months : 15,000 USD

1 Year : 25,000 USD


Fellowship application process:


NMC Temporary License:

For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).


The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.

2. Address (Current & Permanent)

3. Parent’s Name

4. Date of Birth

5. Passport Size Photograph

6. Passport Copy

7. All Degree Certificates (including any Specialities, if applicable)

8. Valid Medical Practitioner License

9. Valid Good Standing Certificate

Hotel rates start from 40$/day (other options are available for long stay).


Certificate:

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Fellowship Certificate issued by the hosting hospital.
