The Pelvis, Acetabulum and Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship provides advanced, hands-on training in the management of high-energy musculoskeletal injuries, complex fractures, and pelvic-acetabular trauma.The program is designed for orthopedic surgeons aiming to develop operative proficiency and clinical decision-making skills in acute trauma care and complex reconstruction.


Program Highlights:

Participants will gain exposure to a broad range of trauma and reconstructive procedures, including:


  • Management of polytrauma and high-energy fractures

  • Pelvic and acetabular fracture fixation using anterior and posterior approaches

  • Long bone and periarticular fracture management with plating, nailing, and external fixation

  • Open fracture management, wound coverage, and soft-tissue reconstruction principles

  • Post-traumatic deformity correction and rehabilitation protocols


Fellows will train under the supervision of experienced trauma surgeons in high-volume centers with dedicated orthopedic trauma units and emergency services.


Training Experience

• Hands-on procedural training in a high-volume trauma center

• Exposure to pelvic, acetabular, and complex fracture fixation using modern fixation techniques

• Participation in trauma calls, preoperative planning, and postoperative rehabilitation discussions

• Opportunities for clinical research, publications, and presentations at national meetings


Duration and tuition fees:

1 month: 3,800 USD

2 months : 7,500 USD

3 months : 10,000 USD

6 Months : 15,000 USD

1 Year : 25,000 USD


Fellowship application process:


NMC Temporary License:

For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).


The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.

3. Parent’s Name

4. Date of Birth

5. Passport Size Photograph

6. Passport Copy

7. All Degree Certificates (including any Specialities, if applicable)

8. Valid Medical Practitioner License

9. Valid Good Standing Certificate

Hotel rates start from 40$/day (other options are available for long stay).


Certificate:

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Fellowship Certificate issued by the hosting hospital.
