The Cataract & Phaco Surgery Fellowship provides advanced training in the surgical management of cataract and anterior segment disorders. The program is designed for ophthalmologists seeking to develop comprehensive expertise in modern phacoemulsification techniques, intraocular lens (IOL) implantation, and the management of both routine and complex cataract cases.


Program Highlights:


• Advanced phacoemulsification for routine and complex cataract cases

• Comprehensive preoperative planning, biometry, and premium IOL selection

• Management of intraoperative complications and structured postoperative care

• Multidisciplinary exposure within anterior segment services, including glaucoma and cornea support


Fellows will train under the supervision of experienced anterior segment surgeons in high-volume surgical centers, actively participating in daily operating lists as well as pre- and post-operative patient care.


Training Experience


• Structured practical surgical exposure within high-volume operating lists

• Direct mentorship under experienced anterior segment surgeons

• Involvement in case discussions, surgical audits, and complication analysis

• Opportunities for clinical research, presentations, and academic development


Duration and tuition fees:

1 month: 3,800 USD

2 months : 7,500 USD

3 months : 10,000 USD

6 Months : 15,000 USD

1 Year : 25,000 USD


Fellowship application process:


NMC Temporary License:

For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).


The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.

1. Full Name of the Applicant

2. Address (Current & Permanent)

3. Parent’s Name

4. Date of Birth

5. Passport Size Photograph

6. Passport Copy

7. All Degree Certificates (including any Specialities, if applicable)

8. Valid Medical Practitioner License

9. Valid Good Standing Certificate

Hotel rates start from 40$/day (other options are available for long stay).


Certificate:

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Fellowship Certificate issued by the hosting hospital.
