The Vitreo-Retinal Fellowship provides advanced training in the diagnosis and surgical management of retinal and vitreous disorders. The program is designed for ophthalmologists seeking to develop comprehensive expertise in medical and surgical retina, including vitreoretinal procedures and the management of complex posterior segment diseases.


Program Highlights:


• Advanced management of retinal disorders, including diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and macular diseases

• Practical exposure to pars plana vitrectomy and related vitreoretinal surgical techniques

• Diagnostic and therapeutic retinal laser procedures and intravitreal injections

• Integration of advanced retinal imaging, including OCT and fluorescein angiography, for clinical decision-making


Fellows will train under the supervision of experienced vitreoretinal surgeons in high-volume tertiary centers, actively participating in operating lists, retinal clinics, and perioperative patient management.


Training Experience


• Structured exposure to both medical and surgical retina services

• Direct mentorship in vitreoretinal surgical planning and intraoperative decision-making

• Participation in complication management and postoperative retinal care

• Opportunities for clinical research, case presentations, and academic discussions


Duration and tuition fees:

1 month: 3,800 USD

2 months : 7,500 USD

3 months : 10,000 USD

6 Months : 15,000 USD

1 Year : 25,000 USD


Fellowship application process:


NMC Temporary License:

For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).


The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.

1. Full Name of the Applicant

2. Address (Current & Permanent)

3. Parent’s Name

4. Date of Birth

5. Passport Size Photograph

6. Passport Copy

7. All Degree Certificates (including any Specialities, if applicable)

8. Valid Medical Practitioner License

9. Valid Good Standing Certificate

Hotel rates start from 40$/day (other options are available for long stay).


Certificate:

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Fellowship Certificate issued by the hosting hospital.
