The Cornea & Refractive Surgery Fellowship provides advanced, hands-on training in the diagnosis and management of corneal disorders and refractive surgery. The program is designed for ophthalmologists seeking to develop comprehensive expertise in corneal transplantation, anterior segment reconstruction, and modern refractive surgical techniques.
Program Highlights:
• Advanced management of corneal diseases, including keratoconus, infectious keratitis, and ocular surface disorders
• Surgical exposure to corneal transplantation techniques such as PKP, DALK, DSAEK, and DMEK
• Hands-on training in refractive procedures, including LASIK, PRK, SMILE, and corneal cross-linking (where available)
• Integration of anterior segment imaging and corneal topography for surgical planning and refractive optimization
Fellows will train under the supervision of experienced cornea and refractive surgeons in high-volume tertiary centers, actively participating in surgical sessions, specialty clinics, and perioperative patient management.
Training Experience
• Structured exposure to both medical and surgical cornea services
• Direct mentorship in refractive surgical planning and postoperative outcome evaluation
• Participation in complication management and ocular surface rehabilitation
• Opportunities for clinical research, academic discussions, and case presentations
Duration and tuition fees:
1 month: 3,800 USD
2 months : 7,500 USD
3 months : 10,000 USD
6 Months : 15,000 USD
1 Year : 25,000 USD
Fellowship application process:
NMC Temporary License:
For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).
The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.

Accommodation:
Hotel rates start from 40$/day (other options are available for long stay).
Certificate:
Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Fellowship Certificate issued by the hosting hospital.
