The Glaucoma Fellowship provides advanced training in the diagnosis and comprehensive management of glaucoma and related optic nerve disorders. The program is designed for ophthalmologists seeking to develop expertise in medical, laser, and surgical glaucoma care, with a focus on long-term disease control and preservation of visual function.


Program Highlights:


• Advanced evaluation and management of primary and secondary glaucoma

• Comprehensive interpretation of visual fields, OCT, and optic nerve imaging

• Exposure to laser procedures, including SLT and peripheral iridotomy

• Surgical training in trabeculectomy, glaucoma drainage devices, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), where available


Fellows will train under the supervision of experienced glaucoma specialists in high-volume clinical settings, actively participating in glaucoma clinics, surgical sessions, and long-term patient follow-up.


Training Experience


• Structured clinical exposure to a broad spectrum of glaucoma cases

• Direct mentorship in surgical planning and postoperative management

• Participation in complication review and complex case discussions

• Opportunities for academic activities, research involvement, and case presentations


Duration and tuition fees:

1 month: 3,800 USD

2 months : 7,500 USD

3 months : 10,000 USD

6 Months : 15,000 USD

1 Year : 25,000 USD


Fellowship application process:


NMC Temporary License:

For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).


The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.

1. Full Name of the Applicant

2. Address (Current & Permanent)

3. Parent’s Name

4. Date of Birth

5. Passport Size Photograph

6. Passport Copy

7. All Degree Certificates (including any Specialities, if applicable)

8. Valid Medical Practitioner License

9. Valid Good Standing Certificate

Hotel rates start from 40$/day (other options are available for long stay).


Certificate:

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Fellowship Certificate issued by the hosting hospital.
