The Oculoplasty Fellowship provides advanced training in the diagnosis and surgical management of eyelid, lacrimal, orbital, and periocular disorders. The program is designed for ophthalmologists seeking to develop comprehensive expertise in functional and aesthetic oculoplastic procedures, with a focus on both reconstructive and cosmetic outcomes.


Program Highlights:


• Surgical management of eyelid disorders, including ptosis, entropion, ectropion, and eyelid tumors

• Lacrimal system procedures such as external and endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR)

• Exposure to orbital disease management, including orbital tumors and decompression (where applicable)

• Functional and aesthetic periocular procedures, including blepharoplasty and reconstructive techniques


Fellows will train under the supervision of experienced oculoplastic surgeons in specialized clinical settings, actively participating in surgical lists, outpatient clinics, and perioperative patient care.


Training Experience


• Structured exposure to both functional and cosmetic oculoplastic services

• Direct mentorship in surgical planning, anatomical precision, and complication management

• Participation in case discussions, reconstructive strategies, and postoperative follow-up

• Opportunities for academic involvement, research activities, and clinical presentations


Duration and tuition fees:

1 month: 3,800 USD

2 months : 7,500 USD

3 months : 10,000 USD

6 Months : 15,000 USD

1 Year : 25,000 USD


Fellowship application process:


NMC Temporary License:

For hands-on training, a temporary NMC license is required here in india (the National Medical Commission authorization for foreign doctors to undertake practical training).


The licensing process typically takes around two months, and our office will handle all necessary procedures on your behalf. We recommend planning your schedule accordingly to accommodate this timeline.

1. Full Name of the Applicant

2. Address (Current & Permanent)

3. Parent’s Name

4. Date of Birth

5. Passport Size Photograph

6. Passport Copy

7. All Degree Certificates (including any Specialities, if applicable)

8. Valid Medical Practitioner License

9. Valid Good Standing Certificate

Accommodation:

Hotel rates start from 40$/day (other options are available for long stay).


Certificate:

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an official Fellowship Certificate issued by the hosting hospital.
